The CRLS boys’ swim team celebrated Senior Night on Thursday with a 102-66 defeat of Bedford. The boys’ 4×50-yard and medley relay teams, both consisting of Khantushig Lkhagvajargal, Hong-Joon Koh, Senior Captain Giacomo Cotta-Ramusino Zambotti and Evan Wei, won their races. The 4×100-yard relay team of Jae Mbugua, Ettore Cotta-Ramusino Zambotti, Giacomo Cotta-Ramusino Zambotti and Koh also notched a win. Cambridge took the top three slots in the 100-yard freestyle, with Wei finishing first, followed by Mbugua and Eliot Samuel.

Girls’ swimming: The girls’ swimming team defeated Bedford, 93-89. The 4×50 and 4×100 teams of Lila Nguyen, Nina Penagos-Esquitin, Bianca Etkin and Bess Sterman both won. Etkin won the 100-yard freestyle with a personal best time of 1:01.81. Sterman was touched out in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing second to a Bedford swimmer by just 0.16 seconds.

Boys’ basketball: The boys’ basketball team (7-2) won its sixth consecutive game with a 71-46 defeat of Newton South on Friday. Levi Daniels led the Falcons with 14 points and was a monster on the glass with 15 rebounds. Jaydaan Correia scored 10 points and had eight rebounds. Imam Firmin chipped in eight points.

Girls’ basketball: The girls’ basketball team (4-6) lost to Malden Catholic on Wednesday, 47-35, then squeezed by Newton South, 34-32, on Friday. Against Malden Catholic, Jaida Hope scored eight points, grabbed seven rebounds, and made four steals. Iyanna Harris contributed with six points, two rebounds, and three steals. Jai Gomes added five points and five rebounds.

In the defeat of Newton South, Avie Marshall led the way with six points, 13 rebounds, and three steals. Jennifer Duverglas had nine points and four rebounds. Gomes scored eight points, grabbed four rebounds, and made four steals.

Girls’ hockey: The girls’ hockey team (1-9) won its first game of the season with a 6-4 defeat of Wayland-Weston on Saturday. Allison Rapp scored and had three assists, with Surina Phelan scoring a goal and contributing two assists. Caroline Rapp also picked up a goal and an assist.

Other goal-scorers were Olivia Cruz, Olivia Gao and Emmy Marsh-Zinser, and Marin Albrecht added an assist. Goaltender Max Cowen-Breen made 23 saves for the Falcons. On Monday, though, it lost to Medford in overtime, 4-3. Gao, Allie DelVecchio and Alicia Pite scored the goals, with Caitlin Beyer assisting on all of them. Marsh-Zinser had another assist and Cowen-Breen made 24 saves.

Boys’ hockey: The boys’ hockey team (4-6-1) lost to Bishop Stang on Wednesday, 6-2, with Josh Pite notching a goal and an assist. Joel Perez scored the other goal, and Matias Moore, Vincent Caterina, and Liam Molberger each had an assist.

On Friday, in the opening round of the Travis Roy Jr. Beanpot tournament, the Falcons scored a thrilling victory over Newton North, 4-3, with Pite scoring the winning goal with nine seconds remaining. He added another goal and two assists. Perez and Tate Schoenau each had a goal and an assist. Moore contributed three assists and Henrik Emerton added one. Goaltender Owen Goldstein had 34 saves.

In Saturday’s championship game on Saturday, the Falcons fell 5-2 to Brookline. The goals came from Pite and Molberger. Moore, Perez, Emerton, and Schoenau each had an assist.

The tournament raises funds for the Travis Roy Foundation, which supports survivors of spinal cord injuries.

Boys’ track: In its fourth Dual County League meet of the season, the boys’ track team tied Newton South, 50-50. In the 1,000-meter run, Liam Eldridge won in 2:39.78, Henry Parker finished third (2:41.31) and Thomas Dewitt took fourth (2:42.25). Leon Ibanez-Fraile won the one-mile run with a time of 4:23.79, and Gael Berzin won the two-mile run with a time of 10:19.08. In the 4×400 meter relay, the team of Winslow Lively, Eldridge, Ibanez-Fraile and Miel Henry finished second with a time of 3:35.88.

Girls’ track: The girls’ track team lost to Newton South, 55-44. Naomi Baldwin finished third in the 300-meter dash with a time of 42.48. The 4×400 meter relay team of Mariye Demissie, Leah Hogan, Baldwin and Caie Thielow finished second with a time of 4:23.91. In the two-mile run, Yasmina Ghamloush finished fifth in 13:49.87.
