Fumi Abe knows it: For all his charm, he’s simply got nothing on Costco. Dating in your 30s, he notes, puts different obstacles in your way. And as he learned from a woman who ultimately rejected him in a bar, Kirkland brand hot dogs are simply too formidable for him to defeat. It’s sharp observational comedy like that that has carried Abe to appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” Dropout’s “Smartypants” and to writing posts for the Espy awards and NPR game show “Wait, Wait … Don’t Tell Me!” Abe comes to Cambridge for two shows at The Comedy Studio as part of its TCS Presents headliner series, and will undoubtedly show off the skills that got him named to Vulture’s 2023 list of Comedians You Should and Will Know (saying “he puts his analytical streak and friendly-but-brutal honesty to good use”). Count yourself in-the-know by going to see him.

TCS Presents: Fumi Abe at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday at The Comedy Studio, 5 John F. Kennedy St., Harvard Square, Cambridge. $25.
