Cambridge’s beloved storyteller, Brother Blue, died Wednesday. An obituary is here; a story Cambridge Day did in 2005 celebrating his work — including the more than 20 years he spent running a local storytelling series — is here.

There is an outpouring of grief and good wishes on Twitter, and CCTV posted a memorial Wednesday.

There will be visiting hours Sunday for Brother Blue, whose birth name was Hugh Morgan Hill, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. He will be interred Monday in Pittsfield.
