This truck was parked at the Porter Square’s Shaw’s supermarket Wednesday, facing Elm Street and Somerville. U-Haul is unknowingly suggesting its trucks aren’t for moving stuff from apartment to apartment, but storage units constantly roaming “all across North America.” Like when you realize winter is coming on, you call your driver and have him or her drive back from wherever — Winnipeg? Salt Lake City? — to bring your cold-weather wardrobe. It’s great that these mobile closets come in any size you need, but it still seems wasteful and expensive. And, by the way, nice parking job. That’s two spaces. (It is a tight parking lot.) — Marc Levy
