Maybe the rat infestation in East Cambridge, Central Square, Area IV and NorthPoint is getting a natural solution? A reader sent these photos of a hawk engaging in some light snacking/rat patrol Thursday in a fenced-off Sennott Park area – first spotted dragging the rat, then starting to eat it. “Then it swooped up to a nearby power cable, taking the rat with him. I could tell he was listening to other hawks in the distance, bragging about their own delicious suppers,” the reader says. “Ain’t that grand we’ve got hawks helping us out!”
