The proliferation of tattoo-removal services such as Tataway (an inferior name to competitor Disappearing Inc., it must be said) should be a reminder to everyone that a lack of care can lead to embarrassment, and that sometimes an unwanted image or word is at least semi-permanent.

But that didn’t keep Tataway from posting an ad urging people to take a picture of their misspelling of the word “receive.”

Across Greater Boston, dozens if not hundreds of people with poor impulse control are taking pictures of an ad from a company that can’t use spell check!
