Television and radio personality Robin Young hosts and state Rep. Marjorie Decker speaks at “Celebrate our Students, Invest in our Future,” a fundraiser by the Friends of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School being held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Google, 355 Main St., Kendall Square.

The “Bash and Bid” offers a festive night out while supporting opportunities for students, grads and faculty of Cambridge’s public high school, said organizers at the nonprofit Friends of CRLS.

Tickets are $50 each for a smorgasbord, open bar, live auction, live jazz, live a cappella groups and mingling. Learn more, buy tickets or make a tax-deductible donation here.
