Just in time for Thanksgiving – when owners say doors will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. – North Point Restaurant & Bar has replaced the Weltkuche Bistro in Cambridge Crossing. The rebranding is under the same ownership, that of Narinder Guhania, owner of Passage to India in Porter Square, and throws out some of the “world cuisine” dishes for a simpler menu.

The change came Wednesday; the Weltkuche Bistro had been in business since March 2020.

The North Point has a Thanksgiving menu Thursday and Friday with a $40 roasted turkey with traditional sides and additional pumpkin dishes – a soup for before, a mousse for after – in addition to the ability to sub in a grilled salmon ($45) or rosemary chicken ($40) for the meal.

Afterward, expect to find such things as steak and potatoes; a charcuterie dish; avocado toast; and a lot of very colorful cocktails. Regular hours of 4 p.m. to midnight or 1 a.m start Friday.
