Benefits from Somernova
Union Square Neighborhood Council community benefit agreement summit, 1 p.m. Saturday. The Union Square Neighborhood Council seeks input online from community members about what community benefits they would want to see from the rezoning and expansion at the Somernova business campus, a proposalย thatโs paused until the spring. Free Portuguese course offered
Portuguese course, 6:45 p.m. Monday. Free to Somerville employees and residents, this three-college-credit Portuguese II course is for students who have prior knowledge of the language and runs to May 8 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Seniors can get help with tech
Technology Drop-In Hours, 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Council on Aging hosts a drop-in session for people with questions about electronic devices. The session takes place at the Holland Street Center, 167 Holland St., Davis Square.
Free vaccination clinic
Vaccine clinic, 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Somerville Health and Human Services offers free Covid and flu vaccines, regardless of health insurance or immigration status. Pre-registration is required. The clinic is at Connexion Church, 149 Broadway, East Somerville.
Historic Preservation Commission meets
Historic Preservation Commission, 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.The commission discusses whether thereโs historic significance at three sites headed toward demolition: 382 Broadway and 8 Montrose Court, both built in 1900 on Winter Hill; and 9 Olive Ave., built in 1920 on Spring Hill. Urban Forestry Committee to meet
