The Midwinter Revels: A Celtic and Cabo Verdean Celebration of the Solstice at 7 p.m. at Sanders Theatre, 45 Quincy St., near Harvard Square (and continuing through Dec. 28). $20 to $105. During the Revels’ 54th production, this time set in a Galway Bay fishing village’s pub, a retelling of the story “The Selkie Girl and the Seal Woman” transforms the pub into a fantastical portal between two worlds where Irish songs, jigs and reels share the stage with dance, drumming and traditional songs from Cabo Verde.
