Stop me if you’ve heard this before: An adventurer wanders behind a Burger King and discovers a portal to a magical land called Foon. If you listen to the improvised comedy podcast “Hello from the Magic Tavern,” you have heard this one before … and 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of its weekly interviews with mythical creatures, adventurers and wizards. To celebrate the milestone, Arnie, Chunt and Usidore are headed to Arts at the Armory for a live edition of their whimsical show. Longtime listeners can expect to capture the excitement and humor that has guided the show through its 10 years. Even first-time listeners will find ways to enjoy the hilarity of a show that has attracted talented guests and high-profile improvisers such as Richard Kind, Jason Mantzoukas and Lisa Gilroy. (This stop on the tour offers no meet-and-greet VIP option, but we’ll overlook the implication no one here is important.)
