The feast is on at a recent Agassiz Baldwin Thanksgiving Potluck Feast. The annual event takes place the Tuesday before the Thanksgiving holiday.

The 39th annual Agassiz Baldwin Thanksgiving Potluck Feast is set for Tuesday in the Maria L. Baldwin School dining hall. In this tradition — the nonprofit’s biggest community event of the year — the community supplies drinks and10 turkeys, which are prepared by volunteers in their ovens, while guests bring salads, sides and desserts meant to be inspired by family recipes.

It’s “where old friends and new neighbors meet and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings,” said the group’s community liaison, Phoebe Sinclair.

There will be activities for children to enjoy, but parents are responsible for their children while at the event, she said.

The dinner is to run Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the school, 28 Sacramento St.
