The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra thanks the Biogen Idec Foundation for its recent grant in support of our 37th season of concerts, and Cambridge Trust Co. for its grant to underwrite the cost of free student tickets this season. We also thank MetLife Foundation for its Volunteer Ventures grant in support of the free pops concert that will take place in Sennott Park on June 24. Enabled by the generosity of funders such as the Biogen Idec Foundation, Cambridge Trust Co. and MetLife Foundation, we share our enthusiasm for live orchestral and chamber music with new audiences, particularly youngsters, as well as with seasoned concertgoers, and also take our performances to outreach locations for audiences who have little access to live classical music.

The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra is a community music organization that provides a welcoming environment for players and audiences through outstanding concerts, events and social action. Our slogan: “Artistry and Community in Concert.”
