From the Cambridgeport Neighborhood Association, March 9, 2018: A public meeting of the Cambridgeport Neighborhood Association is scheduled for 6:30 to 9 p.m. March 15 in the common room at the LBJ Apartments, 150 Erie St.

The association invites residents to come at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy refreshments and meet neighbors.

At 7 p.m., state Sen. Joe Boncore and state Rep. Jay Livingstone will talk about developments at the State House and their current work on committees and legislation.

At 8 p.m., director of the Traffic, Parking & Transportation Department Joseph Barr and city engineer Melissa Miguel will speak about Department of Public Works projects and the impact of these projects on car and bus routes. This will include discussion of the Flow/Stormwater Tank Infrastructure Program in The Port neighborhood that will lead to narrowing Massachusetts Avenue to two lanes.
