Zambrero is doing it again: On Wednesday, like when it opened in March in Harvard Square, the Mexican food chain is giving away 1,000 free burritos. Even though Australia-based Zambrero replaced another burrito joint, Boloco, and has a meal donation program that should resonate with students and other Cantabrigians (buy a meal and one is donated to someone in need), it seems like the chain still has some work to do getting its name out there: This giveaway was announced with the company saying itโ€™s โ€œnew to Harvard Square and want you to try our fresh, delicious Mexican with a healthy twist.โ€

The eatery at 71 Mount Auburn St., Harvard Square, is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., but the burritos are likely to go quickly: Harvard students โ€œflockedโ€ to the free offer in March.
