It’s a tossup whether herbs such as turmeric or thyme or marijuana get more health claims attached to them, but NOCA Provisions is bringing in a “Wellness Drink Menu” of lattes infused with cannabidiol that means never having to choose.

Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive cannabis compound – meaning it won’t get you high – that chefs polled by the National Restaurant Association expect to see pop up in food and drink of all kinds this year. CBD hemp oil and other cannabidiol preparations were okayed for sale in Massachusetts last year.

Chef/owner Robert Harris has two cannabidiol drinks on his menu so far, each for $10: a Golden CBD Latte with coconut milk steeped with turmeric, ginger and black pepper; and a Calming CBD Latte with chamomile-lavender infused oat milk. There’s 5 milligrams of the oil in each. “These all-natural drinks have health and wellness benefits that include anti-inflammatory and calming properties,” Harris said in a press release.

NOCA Provisions is at 156 Rindge Ave., North Cambridge.
