From 2019: What other ideas besides the Affordable Housing Overlay can be used to create affordable housing, and how can you create more housing while protecting existing tenants?
What we’re going to do is vote for affordable housing. That’s it. But now, who’s going to determine who gets these units? And who’s going to determine at what price? We have 190 different nationalities, and each one wants affordable housing. That’s how many different nationalities there are. I looked that up and I know that. Everybody wants affordable housing, so everybody gets one here, one there, one there, and I agree on that. That’s what I’m going to be voting for.

Polite, kind and courteous. They should be very familiar with the city and its needs.
