The Community Charter School of Cambridge in East Cambridge will not host polling locations for the Sept. 6 primary and Nov. 8 general election, voters were warned on Friday.

Though the Bent Street school had been listed as having a polling place for residents in Ward 2, precincts 2, 3 and 3a, people in those precincts who want to vote in person are being redirected by the Election Commission:

  • Voters in Ward 2, Precinct 2, must go to the community room of the Harry S Truman Apartments, 25 Eighth St., East Cambridge, using the Thorndike Street entrance.
  • Voters in Ward 2, precincts 3 and 3a, must go to the Cambridge libraryโ€™s Oโ€™Connell Branch, 48 Sixth St., East Cambridge, using the rear entrance.

โ€œYour polling location will NOT be the Community Charter School of Cambridge,โ€ the commission told residents in emails sent by Lesley Waxman, its assistant director. โ€œPlease disregard all polling location information you may have received prior to this letter.โ€
