Sex workers were set up in Alewife apartments, law enforcement officials say after three arrests
Customers of the sex workers included “politicians, pharmaceutical executives, doctors, military officers, government contractors that possess security clearances, professors, lawyers, business executives, technology company executives, scientists, accountants, retail employees and students,” according to an affidavit.

Somerville wary of state authority on green roofs and other news around development and zoning
Despite the Somerville Planning Board being in favor of green roofs as a concept, the state’s authority over the building code led the board to caution against passing a city law about the environmental measure; an Alewife apartment complex has sold for $182 million; and there’s more doings in development and zoning.
