State police are reportedly handling a crash involving a bicyclist around McGrath Highway at approximately 6 a.m. in which the rider was taken to a local hospital with injuries, said Jeremy Warnick, director of communications and media relations for Cambridge police. The crash was reportedly near the 239 Monsignor Oโ€™Brien Highway Shell gas station in East Cambridge.

NBC10 Boston first reported the news, placing it at the Cambridge/Somerville Line and saying the crash involved โ€œat least one car.โ€

A message requesting information has been left with state police.
