The Cambridge Public Schools district website is experiencing a continued outage Monday.

The Cambridge Public Schools website continued to be unstable Monday, as the site veered from fully online to completely offline.

Access to ClassLink applications, including the Aspen Student Information System, appeared to be intermittently affected, as the district’s Information, Communication and Technology Services department worked to stabilize the platform.

“The hosting service, Intrado SchoolMessenger, is still working to restore all services. The latest estimate for a full recovery is Monday evening. We are very disappointed in the hosting companies response to this critical incident,” said Steve Smith, the district’s chief information officer.

The site went offline at about noon Friday due to an outage with its hosting service, though the district was able to bring some individual applications back online in about an hour. Other sites run by Intrado, based in Scotts Valley, California, were also affected. The company says it hosts “thousands of schools and other educational institutions” throughout the United States and Canada.

The website outage has not affected the remote classes that the majority of students currently attend.

Update on Feb. 8, 2021: Service returned late Monday.
