Let vehicles be towed

City Council Legislative Matters Committee, 6 p.m. Tuesday. This committee run by city councilor Lance Davis will discuss revising a traffic ordinance so vehicles parked in a crosswalk or blocking a bicycle lane, ramp for people with disabilities, bus stop or sidewalk may be towed as well as ticketed. Watchable by Zoom video conferencing.

MBTA bus network redesign

Pedestrian and Transit Advisory Committee, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The committee will hear about the newly released second draft of a bus network redesign plan and discuss the revised proposal with Melissa Dullea, senior director of service planning at the MBTA. Watchable by Zoom video conferencing.

City Hall reports to Ward 6

Ward 6 Community Meeting, 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Formerly known as ResiStat, the semi-annual series of community meetings continues this week in Ward 6, or Greater Davis Square. For those who attend in person, a meet-and-greet with refreshments begins at 6 p.m. at the Somerville Community Baptist Church, 31 College Ave. The presentation by city officials will follows and is watchable by Zoom video conferencing.
