A victim with a leg wound was taken to a hospital Thursday after a shooting at around 7:05 p.m. at Main and Portland streets in The Port neighborhood in Cambridge.
Police found at least four shell casings and were looking for two shooters and a vehicle, potentially one that had previously been reported stolen, according to scanner reports.
It is the city’s fourth gunfire incident of the year.
The city’s most recent previous gunfire incident was also in The Port, taking place Feb. 24 at Bishop Allen Drive and School Street. In that incident, there were no victims.
In the first two incidents of the year – in Cambridgeport and North Cambridge, respectively – there were one victim each, though. Angel Nieves, 21, was killed Jan. 13.
