This coronavirus edition of movies to shelter with includes a reminder of Tuesday’s Women’s History month film discussion and “Moxie,” an Amy Poehler flick that joins the canon; and the amazing one-shot “Russian Ark” at the Brattle, now in its 20th year as a nonprofit.

A monthlong festival highlighting underrepresented voices in science – women and Black, indigenous and other people of color – arrives in April to the Central Square Theater, with plays, panels and events that bring more than 30 artists and scientists to the virtual stage.

On a far distant planet two centuries into the future, a colony of humans lives in what feels like a Western frontier town atop a forested hilltop – at war with the planet’s indigenous species and totally lacking in women, until one crash lands there.

Lois Lilley Howe, born and raised in Cambridge, was a trailblazer – one of the first women to graduate from MIT’s architectural program, the organizer of Boston’s only all-woman architectural firm in the early 20th century and the first woman elected as a fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
