From the Friends of CRLS, May 17, 2016: The Friends of CRLS celebrates the presentation of $30,000 in scholarships and awards to the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School Class of 2016 at Scholarship Night, held from 5 to 8 p.m. May 19.

The main Scholarship and Award Ceremony will be held from 5:45 to 7 p.m. in Cambridge Rindge and Latin School’s Fitzgerald Auditorium, 459 Broadway, Mid-Cambridge. Students will be available as guides. There will be a Post-Award Collation from 7 to 8 p.m. in the theater lobby as a chance to meet student recipients, mingle with families and pose for photos – as well as to visit the Friends of CRLS table for refreshments, photos and flowers.

A special reception for sponsors and founding donors of scholarships and awards hosted by Friends of CRLS will be held from 5 to 5:40 p.m. in the first-floor Media Cafeteria of the high school’s main building, 459 Broadway, Mid-Cambridge. (Enter through the lobby to be met by a student guide. Sandwiches, coffee and other refreshments will be provided by the CRLS Culinary Arts students, and there will be musical entertainment by the CRLS Jazz Ensemble and, at 5:20 p.m., acknowledgments by Principal Damon Smith.)
