David Maher, 55, is a lifelong Cantabrigian, a 20-year administrator at the nonprofit Cambridge Family & Children’s Service and a longtime elected official. The son of a police officer and graduate of the Suffolk University School of Business Management, Maher has served four terms on the School Committee and is in his seventh term on the City Council.
