From NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts, Aug. 31, 2016: State Sen. Pat Jehlen was endorsed Wednesday by NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts in her bid for reelection to the Second Middlesex District seat. The Democratic primary election is Sept. 8.

“Since her election to the State House in 1991, Sen. Pat Jehlen has demonstrated her commitment to ensuring that all women in the commonwealth have access to the comprehensive range of reproductive health options,” said Christian Miron, deputy director of NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts. “It is essential that we continue to ensure there are pro-choice leaders on Beacon Hill who will work to promote a pro-choice agenda, including protecting the right to abortion. Sen. Jehlen has a proven record of doing so, and we know she will continue to be a leading advocate in the Senate for reproductive freedom and autonomy.”
