Residents, business owners are asked to take energy survey (and get a reward)
The Cambridge Energy Alliance is encouraging Cambridge renters and businesses that lease space in Cambridge to take an energy efficiency survey – and there’s even a reward for those who do: a seven-socket “smart” power strip that automatically eliminate wasteful standby power.
Just one computer station or widescreen television plugged into a smart power strip can save more than $100 per year, leaders at the alliance said in introducing the survey Monday.
The power strip is a $30 value, they said.
The survey is here.
