Hello, neighbors. As founder of The Goree House in The Port area, over the years I have encountered many people running for City Council. For the most part, these people would show up around election time and I wouldn’t see or hear from them for another couple of years.
Many years ago I met Sukia Akiba. She’s been very involved in The Port, and has been doing a lot for our community. She is really community driven and has been a positive leader our youth can depend on. I’d like to endorse Sukia Akiba for City Council – please give her your No. 1 Vote on Nov. 5.
