Q&A

From A Better Cambridge, Sept. 19: What’s the No. 1 strategy or policy you want the next City Council to pursue on housing?

The first thing that councillors should do is to really look at Covid-19 recovery, making sure we’re continuing eviction moratoriums and establishing offices to work on tenant protections and pathways to homeownership. The main thing we need to deal with right now is low wages and  the rising costs of rents when we’re still in the middle of a pandemic.

Roy Ribitzky did not attend as many public forums as other candidates and did respond to an attempt to balance out his profile with more questions.
