Letters to the Editor Policy
Letters to the editor are intended to provide a platform for diverse perspectives and allow readers to respond to and engage with stories published in the newspaper.
- Letters to the editor should be emailed to: forpublication@cambridgeday.com
- Be sure to include your full name, address, and a telephone number. Cambridge Day will publish the writer’s name, street name and city of residence, and contact information will only be used for authentication or clarification. Anonymous letters and letters written under a pseudonym will not be considered.
- Letters must be no more than 300 words in length. If your letter is in response to a published article or letter, indicate specifically which. Referenced links and articles in Cambridge Day or other sources should include the title, date, and a link to the original article. We will not post form letters. Repetitive letters may be ignored.
- Please do not include graphics (e.g. photos, charts, tables, or graphs). Published letters will appear consistent with the Cambridge Day format. Links/URLs to graphs and images on other sites may be included.
- Cambridge Day does not guarantee publication of all submitted letters and we will review and edit letters to ensure clarity and adherence to our guidelines. We do not respond to every submission.
- Letters to the editor express solely the opinion of the writer and may not represent the opinion of Cambridge Day staff or its Board of Directors.
