From The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, June 2, 2017: A soil remediation project began Friday and is expected to run through September at the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s NorthPoint Park in Cambridge, the result of construction operations from the Central Artery/Tunnel Project.

The restricted work area will be surrounded by fencing, signs will be in place and the immediate area will experience an increase in commercial vehicles and machinery traffic as the project progresses, the department warned.
