wintersfade110205While no one knows who’ll take or keep seats in the Nov. 8 election, there is already a clear No. 1 winner, and it’s the same guy who won the previous election, and the one before that:

Robert Winters, the keeper of the Cambridge Civic Journal site on the World Wide Web — find it at rwinters.com — has won every election because he’s the city’s most unbiased, clear and concise source of candidate information. Anyone relying solely on candidate brochures and Web sites is voting recklessly; candidates highlight good points, ignore the bad and invariably fail to compare apples to apples.

Winters, though, asks everyone running to provide the same information and answer the same questions, making comparisons a (relative) breeze. (Voting still involves work.)

Every voter should visit. And every candidate should answer. Winters is No. 1.
