Especially with the musical art installation silenced for repairs at the Kendall Square T stop on the red line, it’s nice to look around and still find something … nice. And what could be nicer than spotting some friendly fixtures with industrial-strength smiles? I don’t know what these are,nor can I explain the dental situation of the lower fixture, where cord is looped through and hanging somewhat menacingly from the jaw, but they brightened my day.
I hope they, uh, hang around.
