State Sen. Patricia Jehlen, a Somerville Democrat running for reelection in the redistricted 2nd Middlesex District — now adding wards 9, 10, and 11 in Cambridge to Somerville, Medford and part of Winchester — has office hours scheduled in Cambridge over the next couple of weeks.

The hours are Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bourbon Coffee, 1815 Massachusetts Ave, Porter Square; and Oct. 29 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Sarah’s Market & Café, 200 Concord Ave., Huron Village.

Jehlen will be available to talk about legislative issues, constituent problems or any other topics. She has represented the district since 2005.

“I have spent most of my life living just over the Cambridge city line and am happy to have an opportunity to serve my neighbors across the border,” Jehlen said in a press release. “I have really enjoyed knocking on doors in Cambridge and talking to residents over the past few months and am eager to continue introducing myself to the city in the months ahead.”
