The superintendent gives a district plan and initiatives progress update and, with interim chief financial officer Ivy Washington, a fiscal year 2025 budget process overview. Middle-income homeownership

Cambridge Redevelopment Authority, 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The authority, which once focused exclusively on Kendall Square, continues to expand is portfolio, this time considering a $5 million investment into a project at 2400 Massachusetts Ave., North Cambridge, with at least 4,000 square feet of middle-income homeownership opportunities; and going into a closed-door session to discuss negotiations for buying an unidentified property “for local economic opportunity programs.” The North Cambridge site was last looked at for development in late 2022 – part of a two-block parcel eyed by developer Patrick Barrett for Tim Rowe and Dan Sibor’s North Cambridge Partners LLC for a tower of condos of up to 80 feet with retail at their base. Watchable by Zoom videoconferencing.
