The long-term plan to tear down and remake three public schools has caused worry over what happens with the art inside and around them, with the fate of the “Further the Dream” mural at the 100 Putnam Ave. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School being – literally – the biggest concern.
In a quick courtroom hearing Monday, it looked like Shirley Graham would lose her home of 41 years on Kinnaird Street. But on Wednesday, Graham learned that Superior Court Justice Kimberly S. Budd had ordered her and the Just-A-Start Corp. back to court for a further hearing.
